About

Professionally, I am based at the Neuroscience Center at Copenhagen University Hospital, Denmark, conducting research on the cognitive (attentional) effects of meditation as well as health-promoting aspects of short-term meditation-based programs such as MBSR and Relaxation Response Training. As a speciel issue, I am interested in genetic effects on the importance of mindfulness as a coping strategy and genetic effects on the changes evoked by mindfulness or RR-training.

As an independent researcher, I am participating in a number of projects and organizations concerning transpersonal and parapsychological issues, e.g. the pathways of psychic practitioners in Denmark and experiments on paranormal, psychophysiological connectedness between homozotic twins.
